Mrs. Young's Lit Kids
I am so excited for the year to come with my LIT Kids! This year will be filled with great experiences and great expectations. With hard word and perseverance each and every student will grow to be even greater writers, readers, and mathematicians! We will work as a community of learners with the common goal of and commitment to being life long learners!
Scholars at Home:
*READ with your student every night. Then have them read to you. After each book, have the student reread then retell the story (beginning, middle, and end). *Ask open ended, ABC ( questions about details in the story. Then write the number of minutes read in student agenda and sign. *Complete weekly math homework and practice weekly sight words. *Check your student's agenda every day: discuss behavior, learning & assignments. |
